Doing good with nothing, doing better with little and doing it within only 36 hours

The REGARD Festival welcomes, for the second year in a row, a delegation of directors, editors, comedians and other related «kinoïtes» for an intensive week-end of video creation. This Kino Kabaret will lead to the production of many brand new short films shot in Saguenay in collaboration with local artists.

Each participating artist will have a maximum of 36 hours to complete the script-writing, shooting and editing of an «improvised» short movie.

The Michael Snow space in galerie Séquence, a centre for contemporaneous arts, will be hosting the Kino Lab, where the public is invited to come and observe the kinoïstes at full working speed.

This project is an initiative of Kino Jonquière which numbers nowadays many members in its fold.
