Elders’ TV

Ville de Saguenay will unroll its red carpet to present you with Elders’ TV! Initiated by the cultural mediation program Éveille ma culture and thanks to a grant from the Nouveaux Horizons pour les aînés program, this project is the result of a will to favour the participation of elders in Saguenay’s cultural life.

Supported by the city’s cultural mediator and a director-coordinator, three groups of elders have elaborated the content of six TV programs. Aged from 62 to 99, these young-at-heart elders, full of life and endearing, have participated in the project of a lifetime. Be with us to get to know them!

On top of officially launching Elders’ TV, we also invite you to a special projection of the “making of” of a short film directed by a team with an average age of 87. Then will follow a discussion with the participants who have made of this great project a première in Québec! The programs will be diffused on Vox Saguenay from May 2011.
